What is the best way to model replacement of two, three ton, split AC/gas systems with one, high efficiency, 5 ton split AC/gas system that has variable speed and capacity?
The problem I seem to be facing is where the % total-fuel is – the two ac systems are currently splitting it evenly (50/50), which is great, but what I am trying to do is model getting rid of those and replacing the systems with just ONE high efficiency zoned system (Trane XV) since this home does not need 6 tons of cooling according to our load calc.
