I am trying to make the cost of improvement change to sq ft for the closed cell foam improvement that is built in. I tried to create a new from this section but will let me change to sq ft instead of board ft. The reason i am asking is that I have to change the value every time because it is not correct as it is based on board feet.

Firstly, you can create a new spray foam item from one of the other insulation types – it doesn’t necessarily have to be from the existing foam item.
Secondly, in the next release you’ll be able to change the units for user-created items. When you get the next update (should be within 2 weeks), here’s how it will work: first create the item, then click on the units (“Bd Ft”) and there should be a dropdown with the list of available units to choose from.
