How to handle inaccessible attic spaces

For inaccessible attics, should they be characterized as “Attic” or “Ceiling” or both?

For the purposes of modelling in OptiMiser, an Attic is any ceiling for which the ceiling framing is separate from the roof framing and there is an enclosed, unconditioned buffer space between the ceiling and roof surfaces. An inaccessible attic would still be modeled in the Attic section.

Under no circumstance would you model the same area in both Attic and Ceiling.
