In the latest release of OptiMiser for APS contractors, the rebate calculation system has been updated to automatically calculate rebate amounts based on the cost and level of improvements. OptiMiser now applies those rebate amounts automatically and makes them available to be displayed on the homeowner report.

To use the rebate auto calc feature:

    • You have to use the cost database to add, edit, and store your pricing. Edit costs for any item by clicking the “>” button to the right of the control. You CANNOT use the cost override controls if you want to automatically calculate rebates; they can include costs for anything in the selected improvement area, and rebates are based on specific costs for insulation, sealing, etc.
    • Go to the Custom table and rename the “Total Incent” column to whatever you like (e.g., “APS Rebates”). You can save this as your default heading.
Before you print a report, open the APS popup. That will calculate the rebates and add them to the Cost table.

When rebates are added via the Cost table, the SIR shown in the report is calculated INCLUDING the rebates, by default. You can change that on the Cost table.
